In painting it can appear calm and intense at the same time. Depending on how it interacts with other colours, pictorial spaces emerge that either develop a concentrated atmosphere or possess a strong energetic presence.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"940\"\u003eIn my work, the effect of violet arises in different ways. Sometimes a violet ground forms the starting point of a painting, on which further layers of color develop.
