An originally graphic order remains visible in places, while in others its boundaries dissolve through overlaps and blurring.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe individual colors do not stand isolated next to one another. They merge into an open color structure in which order and dissolution remain visible at the same time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eLong preparation. The preparation of colors, tools and procedure takes significantly more time than the actual painting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce everything is prepared, the painting is created within a few minutes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis speed is part of the method. The previously developed order cannot be arbitrarily corrected while painting. Colors shift, boundaries become permeable and decisions must be made immediately.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn \u003cem\u003eOutput 11\u003c\/em\u003e, the prepared structure therefore remains visible – but only as a framework.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe plan determines the beginning, not the end.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eFrom graphic structure to abstract painting\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSchmiertafel begins with order: fields, positions, colours and sequences are defined. During the painting process, this graphic structure loses its clarity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn this way, \u003cem\u003eOutput 11\u003c\/em\u003e moves between ordered color fields and free abstract painting. The grid is present without fully determining the finished image.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat was planned and what actually emerged lie on top of one another.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003ePrompt, process, output\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne conceptual starting point of the series is communication with systems like ChatGPT. An input is processed – and we receive an output.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn Schmiertafel this principle becomes a material process. There is a prepared input, a brief process and finally a visible result. But colour follows no calculation. Material, movement and speed alter the original specification.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe output therefore carries its origin within itself without simply depicting it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eYou see the result.
