Atelier Hellbusch – Contemporary Art in Wiesbaden

The Hellbusch studio is the central place of work and encounter for my artistic practice. This is where new series of works are created, where experimentation, rejection, and further development take place – and where works can be experienced directly.

After several years with my own gallery in the heart of Wiesbaden, the studio at Langendellschlag 62 is now the place where my artistic process is concentrated. Away from classic white-cube situations, it offers space for exchange, inspiration, and an immediate closeness to painting.

 


 

Experience art directly 

Many works only unfold their full impact in the original – through scale, surface, color depth, and presence.
I warmly invite you to visit my studio and view my work after a brief appointment. Whether you have a concrete interest in buying or are simply curious: a personal visit is always welcome.

Paintings can be viewed, purchased, or discussed individually here on site.

International presence – personally accessible 

My work is represented on several international art platforms, including Artsper, Artsy, Singulart, Saatchi Art, Artmajeur and Artrewards.

My presence on Artsy is particularly significant, as artists there are admitted exclusively through curated galleries. Since 2025 I have been represented there by the Finnish gallery Artrewards, which supports my work internationally and integrates it into an expanded exhibition context.

This form of curated visibility is an important building block in my artistic development – without replacing personal contact on site.

Art classes in the studio 

Alongside my own work, I regularly offer small-group painting courses. The focus is on expression, color, and experimental practice – not perfection.

The courses are aimed at beginners as well as experienced participants who would like to deepen or rediscover their own visual language. We work in an open, process-oriented way and without stylistic constraints.

  • Organic Grounds – large-format, organic compositions

  • In the End Green – monochrome concentration

  • The Palette – color as a working space, trace, and field of decision

  • Remnants of an Experiment – fragments, traces, detours

Outlook: Schmiertafel

With “Schmiertafel”, a new chapter is announcing itself. The starting point is work surfaces, notes, overpaintings, and seemingly incidental traces – places of thinking and discarding that normally remain hidden.
What emerges when these in-between states themselves become the picture is currently in the process of taking shape and is deliberately being kept open.
