Mark Hellbusch – Expressive Painter and Experimental Artist

Born in 1970 in Bad Segeberg, I traveled the world early on, which greatly influenced me. My childhood took me to Barcelona, Boston, and Frankfurt. As a teenager, I discovered my passion for art and began with my first drawings and acrylic paintings.

After studying at the Falmouth School of Art and Design in England and earning a degree in Geography in Marburg, I continued to develop my artistic expression. Since 1997, I have exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, including in Berlin, Antwerp, Frankfurt, and Wiesbaden. My art is characterized by an intense exploration of color and form. Well-known series such as "The Paintbox", "Splash", and "Organic Grounds" reflect my experimental approach, which combines emotion and structure.

Today I work in my studio in Wiesbaden, where I also offer workshops in experimental and expressive painting. My gallery ARTLET not only features my own works but also hosts rotating exhibitions to make art accessible to a wide audience.
