In the End Green - Modern, Abstract Painting in Green
The images for 'In the End Green' mainly consist of green color fields. They are light green and dark green. - layers of color forming a composition. The paintings are named after first names. The abstract images appear modern and simple. They need good lighting to fully come into their own.
Between the composition and the title of the paintings, the abstract becomes concrete.
On the green areas of the paintings, dark green 'shadows' can be seen. In an abstract form, they are the shadows of an enormous, moving whirlwind. They appear powerful, dynamic, and at the same time, menacing.
Each painting in the series 'In the End, Green' bears a common first name as its title. The connection between humans and nature is particularly evident here, as names are also used to designate high and low-pressure weather systems. Thus, the abstract forms can be associated with something very concrete.
"Thick, colorful layers of paint are poured onto the canvas lying on the ground. Small items from the forest and meadow are placed into the paint. Once dry, it is repeatedly painted and sanded - until the shadows of a weather front appear."
Optimal presentation of modern pictures requires a lot of light - decor ideas.
When presented correctly, the paintings in the "Am Ende Grün" series can appear very elegant and modern. Unlike high-contrast paintings, this type of artwork can only be fully appreciated when the eye can perceive the color depth in combination with the fine structures in detail. Therefore, adequate lighting is truly essential. A spotlight can help the painting fully manifest its elegant appearance.
Complex structures in green: the primer.
The primer was built up from thick, colorful layers of acrylic paint. Additionally, leaves and branches, as well as imprints of them, can be seen everywhere. This creates an organic texture that remains - sometimes clearly, sometimes subtly - even after the painting is finished. After drying, the primed images are sanded with sandpaper and sealed with a binder. Only then does the painting on the canvas begin.
The color green stands for nature and thus for us.
Very fine layers of different shades of green, ocher, brown, yellow, and blue are applied. After several layers of paint, a green color depth emerges that elegantly blends with the complex structures from the primer. The green reminds one of the complexity of nature.
