In the End Green - Modern, Abstract Painting in Green

Price

The paintings for "In the End Green" consist mainly of green color fields. There are light green and dark green layers of paint visible, which create a composition. The paintings are named after first names. The abstract paintings appear modern and simple. They need good lighting to fully unfold.

Between the composition and the title of the paintings, the abstract becomes concrete.

On the green color fields of the paintings, dark green "shadows" can be recognized. In abstract form, they are the shadows of an enormous, moving hurricane. They appear powerful, dynamic, and at the same time threatening.

Each painting in the "In the End Green" series bears a common first name as its title. The connection between humans and nature is particularly evident here, as names are also used to name high and low-pressure areas. The abstract forms can thus be associated with something very concrete.

"Thick, colorful layers of paint are poured onto the canvas lying on the floor. Small items from the forest and meadow are placed in the paint. Once dry, painting and sanding alternate repeatedly - until the shadows of a weather front emerge."

An optimal presentation of modern paintings requires a lot of light - ideas for interior design.

Properly presented, the paintings in the "In the End Green" series can look very classy and modern. Unlike paintings with high contrasts, the eye can only comprehend this type of painting if it can perceive the color depth in combination with the fine structures in all details. Enough light is therefore really necessary. A spotlight can help bring the painting to its full elegant appearance.

Complex structures in green: the base coat.

The base coat was built up from thick, colorful layers of acrylic paint. Additionally, leaves and twigs, as well as their imprints, can be seen everywhere. This creates an organic texture that remains after the painting - sometimes clearly, sometimes subtly. After drying, the primed paintings are sanded with sandpaper and sealed with a binder. Only then does the painting on the canvas begin.

The color green stands for nature and thus for us.

In very fine layers, different shades of green, ocher, brown, yellow, and blue are applied. After several layers of paint, a green color depth emerges, elegantly blending with the complex structures of the base coat. The green is reminiscent of the complexity of nature.
