A three-dimensional wall art object

“RE 15” is part of my experimental art series “Reste eines Experiments” (Remnants of an Experiment). This work goes far beyond a conventional canvas and transforms into a three-dimensional wall object that occupies the space with its colors and structures and makes it tangible. With an impressive depth of 10 cm, “RE 15” becomes a wall sculpture that creates an interaction between artwork and viewer.

Thanks to its multidimensional execution, this work feels almost tangible, as if it were protruding from the wall into the room. The “Remains of an Experiment” series deals with the recycling of materials and the creative redesign of remnants from my painting processes. These elements were recomposed in “RE 15” and developed into a harmonious, colourful art object.

The creation of RE 15: art from everyday materials

“RE 15” is a striking example of my artistic approach of creating artworks from everyday materials. The paint cups you see in the piece come from numerous projects and experiments. Over time, layers of paint accumulated in them, left behind in the course of my work. These “remnants of an experiment” were incorporated into “RE 15” to give them new meaning. Waste becomes art – and from simple materials emerges a work that goes far beyond pure painting.

RE 15 as a wall sculpture: colors and textures within reach

What makes “RE 15” special is its three-dimensional structure. The colourful circles, which at first glance may appear to be flat colours, project plastically from the wall. This wall sculpture invites the viewer to experience the work not only visually, but almost haptically. The depth of the piece creates a physical presence in the room that makes the artwork feel alive. Light and shadow play across the raised elements and give “RE 15” an ever-changing dynamism. A sheet of plexiglass protects the work from dust.

Dimension and depth: RE 15 as a wall object for special spaces

With a size of 123 × 123 cm and a depth of 10 cm, “RE 15” is more than just a painting. It occupies the space in a very special way and transforms the surface on which it hangs into a center of visual attention. As a wall object, it offers an exciting experience both up close and from a distance. The dimensions of the work ensure that it comes into its own particularly well in larger rooms – whether in living spaces, galleries, or offices. The depth and structure of the work make it appear to float in the room and offer a new experience from every angle.

Colours in focus: vibrant tones for the Colorful wall sculpture

The wall sculpture impresses not only with its structure, but also with its vibrant color palette: from strong reds to luminous greens and deep blues. These color combinations bring energy into any room and create a sense of vitality and joy. The mix of light and dark bright tones ensures a dynamic, spatial interplay that captivates the viewer.

A symbiosis of art and design

This artwork is not just a painting, but also a design element. The sculptural circles of paint and the dynamic color combination make “RE 15” a real eye-catcher that integrates seamlessly into modern living spaces, offices, or galleries. It unites art and design in a way that is both aesthetically appealing and functional. The shapes and colors can serve as a source of inspiration for interior design and lend any room an artistic touch.
