Claim 1 – Abstract painting in private collection (100x110 cm, 2018)

Claim 1 is an early work from the series Organic Grounds, in which the painting process itself becomes the central theme.

Across an area of 100 × 110 cm, a dense web of paint drips and layers unfolds. Reds, orange and yellow rising from below build up a warm, earthy energy. Bright areas open up toward the top, leaving room for cooler accents in blue and turquoise.

The paint was poured, dripped, and freely distributed layer by layer. No sketch, no fixed motif — instead, the painting emerges from an interplay of material, time, and gravity.

Claim 1 already reveals the organic character of the later works: an image space that grows, pulses, and organizes itself. Today this work is in a private collection.
