Image Worlds
***************IN PROGRESS***************
Painting Between Color, Form, and Theme
My works are created in clearly defined series. And yet, over time, connections develop — through colors, motifs, moods, or formats.
These image worlds are such connections. They present groups of works that have something in common without being fixed or predefined.
Approaches to Painting
Some image worlds emerge from a color that occupies me for a longer time. Others from a motif that reappears. Still others arise from the format or simply from a particular mood.
For me, this is not a system but an open process. While painting, things emerge, disappear again, and reappear elsewhere. It is precisely from this that these connections arise.
By color
Works that unfold through color worlds — from intense, radiant images to reduced, tranquil color compositions. The focus here is on color dominance in the picture: which color “sets the tone,” defines the space, and guides perception.
By format & size
From small formats to large-scale works — the size of a painting fundamentally changes its impact. Whether it is square, portrait, or landscape format can also play a role.
By motif & content
Some works reveal recognizable motifs, others remain more open. This too gives rise to distinct image worlds such as, for example,

As a freelance artist, I create original paintings that emerge between abstraction and figuration. The image worlds provide an overview of the different thematic areas of my painting and invite you to discover your own points of access.
