"Claim 19" is a painting characterized by an almost meditative atmosphere. The surface appears like a gentle glow—shot through with white, pastels, light turquoise and green tones, as well as occasional dark accents. In vertical traces, the layers of paint condense into a floating pictorial field that hovers between emptiness and presence.
The work skillfully balances between visible structure and silent expanse. Despite its density, the composition appears light and breathing – almost like an abstracted landscape after fresh snowfall or a sea of blossoms flooded with light.
