Claim 2 – Abstract painting on canvas (110 × 100 cm)
Radiant explosion of color with rhythmic depth
"Claim 2" belongs to the ongoing series “Organic Grounds” and was created in 2019. The large-format work (110 × 100 cm) presents a dense, color-intense surface traversed by vertical structures in shades of yellow, orange and red – interspersed with cool contrasts, dark accents and subtle brightening.
The painting does not follow a classical composition. Instead, surface becomes landscape, and plane becomes field. The gaze loses itself among rhythmic traces of color, interwoven textures, and a deep shimmer that changes vividly depending on the light. Through layering and controlled chance, structures emerge that appear both natural and alien.
“Claim 2” is an example of the intuitive search for a pictorial experience of movement, light, and time. It is about condensation and dissolution, stillness and impulse – a painterly reflection on what could be an organic ground.

Context within the "Organic Grounds" series
This work is exemplary of the early phase of the “Organic Grounds” series. While later pieces often rely on round formats or floral color palettes, "Claim 2" remains earthy, intense, and structurally oriented. The vertical structures evoke grasses, flames, or even data streams – depending on your perspective, a field, a code, or a moment in motion.
