A dense color field between energy, structure, and movement

Claim 202 is a small-format, highly intense abstract painting distinguished by an extremely dense color structure. Across 50 × 40 cm, a complex web of color splatters, droplets, and overlays unfolds, almost completely filling the entire surface of the image.

Warm reds, oranges, and yellows dominate the composition and are complemented by numerous accents in blue, green, white, and black. The surface appears like a vibrating, organic system in which countless small color impulses condense into a cohesive overall image.

Seen up close, a highly detailed, almost microscopic structure emerges, while from a distance the work appears as a powerful, pulsating color field.

Color as material – layering, density, and control

The painting is created by pouring, splattering, and multi-layered application of acrylic and varnish. In the process, the paint develops its own dynamic, yet is deliberately controlled and compositionally condensed.

This interplay of chance and control creates a multi-layered surface in which every trace becomes part of a larger rhythmic whole.

Effect in Space

Due to its compact size and high color intensity, Claim 202 is particularly well suited for smaller wall spaces, collections, or as a striking color accent in modern living and working environments.

The work appears lively, full of energy and at the same time structured – a concentrated expression of contemporary abstract painting.
