“Claim 27” is an intense, powerful acrylic painting in the 50 × 70 cm format, created in 2019 and now in private ownership. The luminous colors – dominated by bright red, sunny yellow, and contrasting accents in pink, blue, and green – resemble a blooming summer landscape at the moment of awakening.
As in many works of the series, the visual dynamism arises from a dense layering of countless dots, drops and flowing traces that are reminiscent of plant formations. “Claim 27” invites a sensual, almost physical engagement with color, rhythm and surface.
