Claim 4 - a large-format painting from the "Organic Grounds" series
A large-format acrylic painting from the series “Organic Grounds”, 140 × 150 cm, now in private ownership.
Depth, surface, rhythm – an organic field
Claim 4 unfolds across 140 × 150 centimeters with a pulsating field of color that recalls a wild, late-summer sea of grass or blossoms. In a complex process, countless layers of paint were applied on top of one another – sometimes dripped, sometimes pulled, sometimes intuitive, sometimes controlled.
Color as vegetative movement
The work plays with green, reddish, and yellow tones, interwoven with delicate white and earthy accents. The eye loses itself in the apparent infinity of the surface – like a field you dive into without a horizon. The movement arises from countless vertical gestures that flow from top to bottom and yet never come to rest.
Part of the “Organic Grounds” series
The “Organic Grounds” series explores the interface between surface and space, between intuitive expression and structural density. Each painting in the series follows its own color climate – Claim 4 moves within the spectrum of earth, plant and light.
This work is in private ownership
Claim 4 was completed in 2019 and is now part of a private collection. It is part of a larger series whose works are exhibited and collected internationally.
