Ali – small abstract painting in green
Details about the work
Contemporary art in miniature format
Ali (20 × 20 cm, 2025) is a small but striking work from my series In the End Green. Built up in several layers, the painting presents a lively green surface shaped by organic structures. Small elevations and depressions recall traces from nature – almost like a view of a microscopic landscape.
The compact size makes Ali particularly versatile: as a stand-alone artwork in small spaces or as part of a series in a larger hanging. Despite its format, the painting unfolds remarkable depth while radiating both calm and dynamism.
Nature and abstraction in dialogue
Like all works in the series, Ali bears a first name. This links the abstract composition to something very concrete – similar to how weather phenomena are given human names. The special poetic power of the painting lies in this interweaving of human and nature.
