Nushi – abstract green painting 50 × 40 cm
Work details
Contemporary painting full of structure and depth
Nushi (50 × 40 cm, 2025) is a work from my series In the End Green. The painting thrives on finely layered oil paints, superimposed in various shades of green. The relief-like surface is created by structures that resemble organic traces – like an imprint of leaves or the echo of a landscape.
The medium format makes Nushi versatile: it fits into modern living spaces, studies, or public areas, where it unfolds a calm yet powerful presence. The delicate balance between light and shadow in the green invites lingering and discovery.
Humankind and nature in dialogue
Like all works in the series, Nushi bears a first name. The choice of title points to the close connection between nature and humans – similar to how storms are named. This gives the abstract a concrete dimension and speaks directly to the viewers.
