Compact presence, powerful texture
Although only 30 × 30 cm in size, Field of Mars CXXXV unfolds astonishing depth. The dense structure of paint remnants almost resembles a geological artifact – rich in history, color, and substance.
Material as a bearer of meaning
The use of paint particles from earlier works not only creates an extraordinary relief, but also turns the painting into a carrier of artistic memory. Every fragment holds past gestures within it.
For collectors with an eye for detail
This work invites close viewing: the finely graded nuances and tactile quality make it an ideal artwork for intimate spaces – or as a pointed accent.
