The construction of the paint box.
The paint box was built from wooden strips, canvas and small plant saucers. The wall object "Arena" measures 54 x 64 cm (with frame) and was created in 2023 in Wiesbaden, near Frankfurt. I first glued and/or screwed together the paint pans, the canvas and the different types of strips. Acrylic and oil paints, glue and binder were used for painting and working the piece.

The artist Mark Hellbusch - from expressive painting to modern, experimental art.
I have been a freelance artist since 1997 and have explored a wide range of themes in painting. While until 2007 I worked almost exclusively in expressive painting, today my focus is more on modern, experimental art.
