Colourful Paintings – Abstract Art in Many Colours

In many of my works, the color effect does not arise from a single dominant color, but from the interplay of many different tones. Numerous traces of color, fragments, and layers of paint overlap and form dense, vibrant pictorial spaces.
This complexity often emerges in the course of the painterly process. Colors encounter one another, overlap, merge, or remain visible as individual traces. In this way, picture surfaces develop in which different colors act simultaneously and enter into relationships with one another.
This diversity becomes particularly visible in series such as The Paint Box, Splash, or in experimental works with paint remnants. Here, color-intensive compositions emerge in which movement, chance and deliberate painterly decisions interact.
Diversity of colors in the pictorial space
When many colors are present in a painting at the same time, a special dynamic emerges. Individual hues come to the fore, others remain in the background, and together they form complex visual structures.
