An unusual way to showcase art.

The experimental landscape painting “Marsfeld XXVII” measures 40 x 30 cm and consists of leftover paint and binder. The leftover paint used for this work is colorful. Acrylic paints, oil paints, and lacquer residues interact with one another in the most varied combinations of color, shape, and size. The paint remnants consist of small chunks of paint measuring approx. 0.1 cm to 0.2 cm in diameter. It is the gaps and recesses between the paint remnants that create an unusual tactile quality. This allows art to be presented in a very special way. Below are some key facts about the painting.

An experimental painting made from paint residues.

From afar, the work initially appears to depict an earthy or sandy surface. As you get closer, you realize that the work is completely colorful and made up of small paint remnants. The abstract painting becomes more concrete upon closer inspection: thoughts of wind, water, and natural erosion come to mind.

Modern art for an unusual ambience.

"Field of Mars XXVII" makes the strongest impression in a bright room. The unusual sense of space – the haptics (three-dimensional) combined with the contrasts (two-dimensional) – creates a special ambience that can only be explored gradually. The spatial effect is extremely subtle, so that this painting emanates a very delicate, elegant and stimulating presence, which you can purchase at an affordable price.

Field of Mars pieces can also be beautifully presented in vertical or horizontal rows.

This kind of modern art is not accessible to everyone. Nevertheless, the result of experimental painting can spark curiosity. The juxtaposition of old (leftover paint) and new (painting) and the title "Field of Mars" - incidentally a place of political conflict in ancient Rome - evokes associations around the terms "Mars" and "field."

The presentation of the artwork is authentic but not perfect.

The photos you see above were taken by me – as well as I can. Since I am not a professional photographer, the colors you see may differ slightly from the original. The lighting and resolution could certainly be better here and there. I strive to provide an authentic image of the artworks.

The photos showing the painting in a room were created using the “Smartist” app. This app can frame paintings and allows for a tidy, chic presentation in different spaces. The size ratio of painting to room is reproduced exactly.
