“City Stroll” – The paint box as pictorial space

The work “Stadtbummel” translates the paint box into a large-format abstract wall sculpture. A familiar tool of painting serves as the central motif, functioning here both as formal structure and conceptual starting point. The title adds an additional layer and guides perception toward urban impressions and individual associations.

Material and construction

The object is based on a constructive combination of canvas, wooden strips, and framing elements. The surface was built up and worked in multiple layers, creating a relief-like structure with tangible depth. Various materials and binding agents produce a differentiated, vibrant surface.
