Marsfeld CL – an abstract painting with a vortex.
The small-format abstract painting “Field of Mars CL” measures 30 x 24 cm and is made from leftover paint. The leftover paints used for this painting are colorful. Acrylic paints, oil paints and lacquer residues interact with one another in the most diverse variations of color, shape and size. The sizes of the paint residues range from very fine dust to paint chunks with a diameter of about 1 cm. It is the differences in size of the paint residues that allow for a composition. They form compositionally a whirlpool. In this way, modern art can use paint remnants to create an abstract painting without actually painting. Below are some key facts about the painting.

From a distance, the work initially appears earthy or sandy. However, the vortex is already clearly recognizable due to its more pronounced texture. It is created at this point solely by the change in size of the paint remnants. As you step closer to the painting, you notice that all the paint remnants are equally colorful. This modern way of experimenting with paint remnants also allows you to buy artwork at an affordable price.
Atmosphere in the room with a painting made from paint remnants.
“Marsfeld CL” is a small-format painting. It comes into its own best in a bright room. The unusual spatiality – the tangible haptics (three-dimensional) combined with the contrasts (two-dimensional) – together with the simple composition creates a very original and interesting Atmosphere in the living space, which can only be gradually discovered. The spatial and compositional effect is extremely subtle, giving this piece a very fine, elegant, and stimulating presence.
