Patrik – Current in Green
Movement and depth on abstract color fields
In the work “Patrik” (100 × 150 cm, 2023), rhythmic bands emerge from multi-layered shades of green, moving across the canvas like a current. Different layers of acrylic paint, combined with structures from leaves, twigs and imprints in the priming, create a vibrant surface.
In its abstract form, the painting is reminiscent of the shadows and movements of a weather front – powerful, dynamic and at the same time mysterious. Light brings out the depth of the image particularly well and makes the green color gradients appear refined.
Sold – and now in private ownership
This work is now part of a private collection. It is exemplary of the series In the End Green, which makes the connection between humans, nature, and movement impressively visible.
