Splash 44: experimental abstract art on a black, round canvas

Contemporary art in dynamic design

The painting "Splash 44", created in 2024, is an outstanding example of modern abstract art. With a diameter of 80 cm, this round canvas presents an impressive interplay of movement, color, and energy on a deep black background.

Energetic color splashes: the artwork "Splash 44"

“Splash 44” impresses with an intense black background, adorned with vibrant paint splashes and lines in white, yellow, green, blue, red, and violet. These colors are distributed irregularly and convey a strong sense of movement and energy. The lines snake through in sweeping, circular patterns and appear in shorter, straight, and curved strokes.

The overlapping and intersecting of the various colors creates a profound and multi-layered composition. Particularly striking are the intense white lines that stand out clearly from the black background and give the painting additional depth and dimension.

The black background provides a strong contrast to the vibrant paint splatters, enhancing their impact and giving the artwork remarkable expressiveness and freedom. The choice of colours and the technique of applying the paint create a spontaneous, creative appearance that is typical of my experimental art.

Experimental technique and creative freedom

The “Splash” series is shaped by my experimental approach to painting. I use unconventional methods and tools to bring paint onto the canvas. A modified drill keeps the canvas in motion while I apply the paint, creating unique patterns and forms. This technique emphasizes the spontaneity and creative freedom inherent in each work.

Practical elegance and easy handling

The unique 'Splash' paintings captivate not only with their aesthetic appeal but also with their practical ease of use. Thanks to their round shape and relatively light weight, they can be effortlessly mounted on any wall. A simple nail is enough to securely hang the painting and showcase it to its best advantage.
