When painting enters a space – and stays

“Kitchen Party” is a vibrant, expressive paint box painting that lives up to its title: colors like ingredients – wildly mixed, vividly applied, with a visible joy in gestural expression. In this large-format object painting (96 × 106 × approx. 4 cm), bold yellow, lively pink, rich cyan blue, and warm orange tones come together to create a feast for the senses.

Here, the structure of the oversized paint box becomes a stage: color fields overlap, run, and break into new nuances – like in a boisterous kitchen after a long night. The three-dimensional surface and tangible materiality make the colors seem almost within reach. The work radiates energy, warmth and creative chaos – and transforms any setting with its vibrant character.

Sold – and now in private ownership

“Kitchen Party” is part of the series “The Paint Box” and is now owned by a private collector. It exemplifies how color, object form, and artistic impulse converge in the series. The playful energy of the work recalls the origins of creative processes – and how closely art and life can be intertwined.
