A meditative play of colour, texture and expanse
This work from the Marsfeld series explores the quiet tension between color and surface. With millions of the finest pigments and grains of sand, it creates a surface that only gradually reveals itself to the eye – calm, subtle, and full of depth.
Between nature and abstraction
Inspired by the grain of dry soil, drifting dust, and sedimented traces of color, the painting uses real sand structures combined with colored pigments. The work was built up layer by layer – every nuance deliberately placed, every speck of color part of a larger landscape.
For rooms with a sense of calm, concentration, and materiality
Whether in a bright studio, a modern living space, or a practice: Marsfeld CXXX brings an earthy, organic calm that focuses the gaze and anchors the room.
Part of the continuously growing “Field of Mars” series
Each Marsfeld work is a unique piece, created from the interplay of time, craftsmanship, and accidental precision. This series is dedicated to the beauty of the smallest materials in a large format.
