A painting like a weather front

“Martina” (110 × 100 cm, 2022) is a work from the series In the End Green. At first glance it appears calm, almost understated – green areas, sometimes light, sometimes dark. But on closer inspection a vibrating depth unfolds. The layers are reminiscent of shadows cast by clouds, or the movement of an approaching tornado.
