Experiments and Contemporary Art Combined.

"RE 2"is the result of a creative experiment and an interesting example of contemporary art. This wall object, created in 2012, showsespecially colorsarranged behind glass and frames. The vibrant, dry colors blend uniquely with the metal and plastic of the tubes. The dense arrangement creates a harmonious symphony of colors and textures.

Contrast between old and new elements.

This contrast refers to the use of old brushes, tubes, and paint rollers in a contemporary artwork. The old elements represent the past, tradition, and experience, while the contemporary presentation indicates that these elements are still relevant and vibrant. This symbolizes how the past lives on in the present and how artistic traditions endure through time.

Contrast between order and chaos.

The materials and colors are dense and partially arranged vertically, making the dark background barely visible. This creates a contrast between order and chaos. The arrangement of the tubes and utensils represents structure and control, while the mixing of colors and the irregularity of the background symbolize chaos or unpredictability. This contrast challenges me as an artist to find harmony amid chaos and to create order out of disorder.

Contrast between color and darkness.

The contrast refers to the combination of vibrant colors and the dark background. The colors represent life, energy, and creativity, while the darkness stands for the unknown, the hidden, or the mysterious. This contrast symbolizes how artistic creation and the pursuit of beauty in art often emerge from the darkness of the unconscious or from challenges.

The quest for harmony in the artwork.

I'm trying to find a balance between old and new approaches, order and chaos, as well as color and darkness. This process of seeking harmony amidst opposites is often a central theme in both art and life itself, and "Remnants of an Experiment 2" expresses this universal challenge.
