Savannah – colors of the open plains

A paint-box painting inspired by landscape and light

“Savannah” (80 × 80 × 4 cm, 2014) unfolds a clear, high-contrast color composition. On the left, warm orange, yellow and red tones line up like a sunset. Next to them appear cooler blues and greens reminiscent of shade and vegetation. On the right, light areas in white and yellow dominate, interwoven with textured layers that evoke dryness and heat.

The color gradients and impasto textures create the impression of a landscape – wide, vibrant and full of energy. “Savannah” is a work that captures the atmosphere of nature in abstract form.

Sold – and now in private ownership

This square work from the series “The Paint Box” has found its place in a private collection. “Savannah” shows how color can embody both landscape and mood – between vastness, warmth, and rhythm.
