The Paint Throw – experimental art leads to abstraction.
The work was created using a mixed technique consisting of acrylic, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term "painted" doesn’t quite apply to this technique. The colors were more thrown and splattered, so this is experimental art, which leads to abstraction both visually and thematically.
Warm, colorful tones for an inspiring living space.
To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint—and thus the color gradient—is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. Primarily ochre, but also yellow, green, red, black, orange, blue, and white blend here in a complex way and, through their varying lengths of flow (dot-like and small at the top of the painting, linear and large at the bottom), create a perceptible sense of depth. The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual, abstract way. The result is a painting with much ochre but also colorful tones for an inspiring living space.
An interesting distant effect with a variety of structure and color in the painting.
Despite the many colors, "Claim 20" has a rather subtle effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color). The painting is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be displayed with two nails in the wall.
