The seemingly chaotic application of paint creates a large-scale “organic” field that is “staked out” by the size of the picture.

Experimental painting leads to a modern landscape on canvas.

The work was created using a mixed technique consisting of acrylic paint, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term "painted" doesn’t quite apply to this technique. The colors were rather thrown and splattered, so this is experimental painting, which through the painting process leads to a modern landscape on canvas.

Above all, pink for living spaces with atmosphere.

To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint—and thus the color gradient—is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and texture emerges. Above all, pink, with small amounts of green, violet, red, yellow, orange, blue, black, and white blend here in a complex way, creating a perceptible sense of depth through their varying lengths of flow (dot-like and small at the top of the image, streak-like and large at the bottom). The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual way. The result is a pink-dominated painting for living spaces with an unusual atmosphere.

Good to know about the modern landscape "Claim 106".

Despite the many colors, "Claim 106" has a rather subtle effect and can be appreciated both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of texture and color).

The mixed media technique creates interesting color gradients.

"Claim 106" is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be displayed immediately—with just two nails in the wall. The painting requires neither a frame nor a varnish— but of course, it can have one. I would apply a varnish for you before shipping. You can choose matte, satin, or glossy finishes. However, this is not a recommendation. The mixed technique creates varying degrees of light reflection in the color gradients, which I personally find very stimulating. Additionally, the paints sold today are virtually non-yellowing. For framing, I recommend visiting a specialist shop near you.

The presentation of the paintings is authentic, but not perfect.

The photos you see above were taken by me – as well as I can. Since I am not a professional photographer, the colors you see may differ slightly from the original. The lighting and resolution could certainly be better here and there. I strive to present an authentic image of the paintings. You are very welcome to visit me in the studio or at the ARTLET if you would like to take a look at the original.

Free shipping.

Delivery (Wiesbaden and surrounding area) or shipping of the artwork is free of charge. During the (Hessian) school holidays, there may be delays due to vacations. Delivery pauses are communicated in the header of the homepage. Shipping is generally free of charge.
