Contemporary art with the color throw – a special kind of painting.
The seemingly chaotic application of paint creates an abstract "organic" field that is "outlined" by the size of the painting. Thus, the title "Claim 21" is to be understood in relation to the picture surface (100 x 80 cm). The work was created using a mixed technique consisting of acrylic paint, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term "painted" doesn’t quite apply to this technique. The colors were more thrown and splattered, so this is experimental art. This special kind of painting creates abstractions that can be classified as "contemporary painting."
Ochre tones for modern living spaces.
To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint—and thus the color gradient—is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. Primarily ochre, but also yellow, green, red, black, orange, blue, and white blend here in a complex way and, through their varying lengths of flow (dot-like and small at the top of the painting, linear and large at the bottom), create a perceptible sense of depth. The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual, abstract way. The result is a painting with much ochre but also colorful tones for the modern living space.
Art on canvas with diversity in space, structure, and color.
Despite its many colors, the medium-sized painting "Claim 21" has a rather subtle effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color). The art on canvas is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be displayed immediately—with just two nails in the wall.
