The seemingly chaotic application of paint creates an “organic” field that is “staked out” by the size of the painting. This is how the title “Claim 99” is to be understood in relation to the picture surface (100 x 130 cm).

Experimental painting leads to abstract landscapes.

The work was created using a mixed technique consisting of acrylic paint, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term "painted" doesn’t quite apply to this technique. The colors were more thrown and splattered, so this is experimental painting, which through the painting process leads to an abstract landscape.

Abstract art in yellow, green, and blue tones – for a modern interior.

To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint and thus the color flow is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. The colors yellow, blue, and green, but also pink, orange, red, and white blend here in a complex way and create a perceptible spatiality through their differently long flows (dot-like and small at the top of the painting, linear and large at the bottom). The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures and stimulates the viewer in an unusual way. Through this process, abstract art in atmospheric colors is created for a modern home interior.

Interesting facts about the painting "Claim 99".

Despite the many colors, “Claim 99” has a rather subtle effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color).

The mixed technique creates interesting color gradients.

“Claim 99” is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be displayed immediately – with two nails in the wall. The painting needs neither a frame nor a varnish – though it can of course. I would apply a varnish for you before shipping. You can choose between matte, satin-matte, or glossy. However, this is not a recommendation. The mixed technique (without varnish) creates varying degrees of light reflection in the color gradients, which I personally find very stimulating. This effect is lost with varnish. Also, the paints sold today are almost non-yellowing. For a frame, I recommend visiting a specialist shop near you.
