Experimental painting – the paint throw leads to abstraction.
Painted using a mixed technique consisting of acrylic, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term "painted" doesn’t quite apply to this technique. The colors were more thrown and splattered, so this is experimental painting. The result is a large-scale abstract painting.
Variety of structure and color in the painting – the size of the color dots and strokes, as well as the change in brightness, determine the spatial perception.
To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint and thus the color flow is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and texture emerges. Above all the warm colors orange, yellow, and red, but also green, blue, brown, and white blend here in a complex way, creating a perceptible spatiality through their differently long flows (dot-like and small at the top of the painting, linear and large at the bottom). The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual, abstract way. Additionally, there is a subtle change in brightness. The further down the painting you move, the stronger the colors become. This creates the impression of standing in front of a meadow or at the edge of a field.
A modern ambience for the living space with the large-format painting "Claim 93".
Despite the many colors, “Claim 93” has a rather subtle effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color). The composition is very minimal and is created entirely through experimenting with thrown paint. Anyone who likes the colors and structures will be very surprised by the effect: a very modern atmosphere instantly emerges in the living space.
