Modern and abstract art in motion
The painting “Splash 47” was created in 2024 and is an outstanding example of abstract art. With a diameter of 80 cm, this round canvas shows a lively and dynamic composition on a deep green background.
Vibrant paint splashes: The artwork “Splash 47”
"Splash 47" impresses with a strong green background adorned with lively splashes of color and lines in white, red, yellow, blue and orange. These colors are distributed irregularly, creating a strong sense of movement and energy. The lines snake across the image in curved, circular patterns and appear in shorter, straight and curved strokes.
The overlapping and intersecting of the various colors creates a profound and multi-layered composition. The intense white lines stand out strikingly from the green background and give the painting additional depth and dimension.
The green background offers a powerful contrast to the vibrant paint splatters, enhancing their impact and lending the artwork remarkable expressive force. The choice of colors and the technique of applying the paint create a spontaneous, creative appearance that is typical of my experimental art.
Experimental technique and creative freedom
The “Splash” series is defined by my experimental approach to painting. I use unconventional methods and tools to bring paint onto the canvas. A modified drill keeps the canvas in motion while I apply the paint, creating unique patterns and shapes. This technique emphasizes the spontaneous and creative freedom inherent in each work.
Easy handling and practical elegance
The “Splash” paintings impress not only with their aesthetic impact, but also with their practical handling. Thanks to their round shape and comparatively low weight, they can be mounted effortlessly on any wall. A simple nail is enough to secure the painting and show it to its best advantage.
