Organic depth and abstract structures
The work “Petra” (90 × 80 cm, 2023) shows the characteristic complexity of the series At the End Green. Various shades of green and blue blend with darker tones and fine traces of ochre to create a vibrant composition.
In the priming, imprints and structures of leaves and branches remain visible, giving the painting an organic tactility. “Petra” abstractly recalls the shadows and movements of a weather front – full of power and at the same time poetic.
Sold – and now in private ownership
This work is now in a private collection. It is part of the series At the End Green, which reveals nature as a source of inspiration through multi-layered painting.

About the artist Mark Hellbusch
I have been a freelance painter since 1997 and have worked with a wide variety of themes in painting. While until 2007 I was occupied almost exclusively with expressive painting, today my focus lies more on experimental art.
