The Paint Throw – experimental art leads to abstraction.
It was created using a mixed technique consisting of acrylic, water-mixable oil paint and varnish. Strictly speaking, the term “painted” does not quite apply to this technique. The colors were rather thrown and splashed, so this is experimental art that leads to abstraction both visually and thematically.
Warm, colorful tones for an inspiring living space.
To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint – and thus the flow of color – is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. Above all ocher, but also yellow, green, red, black, orange, blue and white blend here in a complex way and, through their differently long flows (dot-like and small at the top of the picture, linear and large at the bottom), create a perceptible sense of space. The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures and stimulates the viewer in an unusual, abstract way. In this way, a painting with a lot of ocher but also colorful tones is created for an inspiring living space.
An interesting distant effect with a variety of structure and color in the painting.
Despite the many colors, "Claim 20" has a rather subtle effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color). The painting is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be displayed using two nails in the wall.
