Contemporary art with the color throw – a special kind of painting.
The seemingly chaotic application of paint creates an abstract “organic” field that is “staked out” by the size of the picture. Thus the title “Claim 21” is to be understood in relation to the picture surface (100 x 80 cm). It was created using a mixed technique consisting of acrylic paint, water-mixable oil paint and varnish. However, the term “painted” does not quite fit this technique. The paints were rather thrown and splashed, so this is experimental art. This special kind of painting creates abstractions that can be classified as “contemporary painting.”
Ochre tones for modern living spaces.
To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint – and thus the flow of color – is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. Above all ocher, but also yellow, green, red, black, orange, blue and white blend here in a complex way and, through their differently long flows (dot-like and small at the top of the picture, linear and large at the bottom), create a perceptible sense of space. The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures and stimulates the viewer in an unusual, abstract way. In this way, a painting with a lot of ocher but also colorful tones is created for the modern living space.
Art on canvas with diversity in space, structure, and color.
Despite its many colors, the medium-sized painting "Claim 21" has a rather subtle overall effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color). The art on canvas is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be displayed immediately – with just two nails in the wall.
