Modern experimental painting with thrown paint leads to abstraction.
The seemingly chaotic application of paint creates an “organic” field that is “staked out” by the size of the picture. The painting was created using a mixed technique consisting of acrylic paint, water-mixable oil paint and varnish. However, the term “painted” does not quite fit this technique. The paints were rather thrown and splattered, so this is also experimental painting that results in an abstract, organic color field.
Warm colors for the stylish living space.
To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint – and thus the color gradients – is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. Above all pink and Indian yellow, but also red, yellow, blue, orange, black, green, white and violet blend here in a complex way and, through their differently long runs (dot‑like and small at the top of the picture, linear and large at the bottom), create a perceptible sense of space. The eye keeps lingering on the pattern‑free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual way. The result is a painting in warm tones for a stylish living space.
Interesting facts about the painting “Claim 35.”
Despite the many colors, “Claim 35” has a rather subtle overall effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color). The painting is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be displayed immediately – with two nails in the wall.
