A contemporary, colorful painting from the series "Organic Grounds" – experimental painting with thrown paint.
The seemingly chaotic application of paint creates a colorful “organic” field that is “staked out” by the size of the painting. The work was created using a mixed technique consisting of acrylic, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term “painted” does not quite fit this technique. The colors were more thrown and splashed. This is therefore experimental painting, which, with the right throwing technique and rotation of the painting machine, can quickly lead to success. With this unusual and very modern approach, high-quality paintings are created at a realistic price.
Complex greenish and yellow tones for the modern living space.
Above all green and yellow, but also orange, blue, red, white and black blend here in a complex way and, through their runs of different lengths (dot-like and small at the top of the picture, stroke-like and large at the bottom), create a perceptible sense of space. The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual, abstract way. The result is an affordable painting with many green and yellow but also multicoloured tones for the modern living space.
Through the transformation of structures and colors, an abstract painting emerges.
Despite the many colors, "Claim 86" has a rather subtle effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color). To control the spatial effect, the color throw – and thus the color gradients – is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges on the painting. The result of the experiment is an abstract landscape.

Modern painting – about the artist Mark Hellbusch.
I have been a freelance artist since 1997 and have engaged with a variety of themes in painting. While I was almost exclusively involved with expressive painting until 2007, today my focus is more on experimental art. The connecting element of the two focuses is modern painting. My personal background, as well as almost all artistic themes can be found under "About us."
