The seemingly chaotic application of paint creates an “organic” field that is “staked out” by the size of the painting. The title “Claim 99” is therefore to be understood in relation to the picture surface (100 x 130 cm).

Experimental painting leads to abstract landscapes.

The painting was created using a mixed technique of acrylic paint, water-mixable oil paint, and varnish. However, the term "painted" doesn't quite apply to this technique. The colors were more thrown and splattered, so it is experimental painting, which through the painting process leads to an abstract landscape.

Abstract art in yellow, green, and blue tones – for a modern interior.

To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint – and thus the color gradients – is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with different colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. Above all the colors yellow, blue and green, but also pink, orange, red and white blend here in a complex way and, through their differently long runs (dot‑like and small at the top of the picture, linear and large at the bottom), create a perceptible sense of space. The eye keeps lingering on the pattern‑free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual way. Through this process, abstract art in atmospheric colors is created for a modern home interior.

Interesting facts about the painting "Claim 99".

Despite the many colors, “Claim 99” has a rather subtle overall effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatial depth) and up close (variety of structure and color).

The mixed technique creates interesting color gradients.

“Claim 99” is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be displayed immediately – with two nails in the wall. The painting needs neither a frame nor a varnish – though it can of course have one. I would apply a varnish for you before shipping. You can choose between matte, satin-matte, or glossy. However, this is not a recommendation. The mixed technique (without varnish) creates varying degrees of light reflection in the color gradients, which I personally find very stimulating. This effect is lost with a varnish. In addition, the paints sold today are almost non-yellowing. For a frame, I recommend visiting a specialist shop near you.

The presentation of the paintings is authentic, but not perfect.

The photos you see above were taken by me – as well as I can. Since I am not a professional photographer, the colors you see may differ slightly from the original. The lighting and resolution could certainly be better here and there. I strive to present an authentic image of the paintings. You are very welcome to visit me in the studio or at ARTLET if you would like to take a look at the original.

The free shipping.

Delivery (Wiesbaden and surrounding area) or shipping of the artwork is free. During the (Hessian) school holidays, there may be delays due to vacations. Delivery pauses are communicated in the header of the homepage.
