A paint-box painting full of transitions

“In the End Green” (100 × 120 × 4 cm) is a work that leads the eye through the entire spectrum of colours – to the calm of green. At the top, the round paint pans shine in strong tones from pink and orange through yellow and blue to dark violet. Below, large, impasto areas in turquoise, light green and rich dark green open up.

The composition feels like a journey: from the glow and sparkle of the color wheel to the densification in the lower zone, where the green appears as a destination, as a conclusion or even as a new beginning. “In the End Green” conveys movement, change and at the same time serenity – a colorful narrative in three chapters.

Sold – and now in private ownership

This work belongs to the series “The Paintbox” and is now in a private collection. It vividly illustrates the idea of understanding the paintbox not only as a tool, but as an independent work of art – a play between structure and freedom, order and emotion.
