RE 22 – Art from the in-between
Where silence speaks between the colors.
The artwork
RE 22 (2025, 30 × 24 cm) is a small, poetic work that captivates through the unplanned. Created as traces of paint during the painting process of other works, this “interlude” was not wiped away – but honoured. On a white canvas, spontaneous, fleeting colour moments appear like fragments of thought. They are not planned, but have happened – and that is precisely what gives them their power.
Interspace as bearer of meaning
In RE 22, it is not about grand spectacle, but about the “in-between”. Emptiness becomes the stage for what remains when everything else is over. Remnants and traces become signs of movement, reflection, and depth. This work is delicate yet full of tension. It invites you to look very closely – and to discover the beauty in what seems incidental.
