The creation of the Paint Box artworks

Once, while tidying up my students’ palettes, I recognized their pictorial ideas in them. This inspired me to recreate the choice of colors, the mixing and the brush movements on oversized replicas of the paint box. These large-format works create a sense of space through the skillful combination of cool and warm colors and are in fact three-dimensional.
