A flowing color fabric of warmth and light
Claim 163 is an abstract painting in the 100 × 120 cm format, characterized by dense, vertically structured color movement. Warm yellows, oranges and reds merge with blues and greens to form a vibrant, multi-layered pictorial space.
Structure, Dynamics, and Color Effect
The composition emerges through pouring, splattering, and layering acrylic and lacquer on canvas. The paint flows downward in vertical paths, forming a rhythmic mesh of drip marks, overlays, and spontaneous lines. The lower area appears denser and more powerful, while the upper part opens up more lightly and translucently.
The interplay of warm colors creates an intense, almost glowing atmosphere. At the same time, cool accents provide depth and visual balance. Up close, a richly detailed surface with fine transitions becomes visible; from a distance, the work appears as a pulsating, self-contained color field.
Process and series
Like all works in the series Organic Grounds, Claim 163 is also based on a process-oriented approach. Color is understood as an active material – it reacts, moves and develops its own structures. Deliberate control and chance interlock and make the process of creation visible.
Effect in Space
Thanks to its warm, radiant colors, Claim 163 is particularly suitable for modern living spaces, dining areas or representative business premises. The painting combines contemporary abstract art with an open, inviting aura and makes a powerful yet harmonious statement.
