A wide color space between depth and movement
Claim 182 is a modern abstract artwork in the 60 × 80 cm format, carried by a dominant, intense blue. The upper area of the painting opens like a wide horizon, while beneath it a vibrant, color-intense structure unfolds.
Color structure and spatial effect
The work develops out of a deep, luminous blue that lends the painting a clear atmospheric expanse. Beneath it, reds, yellows and greens condense into a multi-layered, organic structure. The paint is poured, splattered and built up in several layers, creating a complex web of drip marks and fine lines.
The abstract composition creates a special tension between calm, open blue and animated, dense color structure. Up close, countless details are revealed; from a distance, the artwork appears as a harmonious, self-contained color field.
Process and artistic approach
As in the series Organic Grounds, the process-based handling of color is also central to Claim 182. Acrylic and lacquer react with one another, flow into each other, and form independent structures. The visible materiality lends the work authenticity and depth.
Modern impact in the space
With its strong blue overall tone and lively abstract structure, Claim 182 is ideal for modern living spaces, offices or clear architectural environments. The work appears both calm and full of energy, setting a contemporary, stylish statement.
