“Claim 3” – Density of color and light (2019)
A work between glowing and dissolving
Multi-layered color worlds with iridescent presence
“Claim 3” is a luminous, large-format painting with an unusual density – like a fog of color slowly lifting. The work, measuring 120 × 140 cm, was created in 2019 and combines shimmering reds, radiant turquoise, yellow impulses and a delicate pink into a vibrating surface. The colors flow vertically, gather and condense into an atmospheric field of tension.
The painting appears like a blooming landscape captured in a moment of blur – between movement and stillness. With “Claim 3”, the search for balance begins: between chaos and order, depth and surface, light and dark.
Early composition with lasting impact
Although this work has long since passed into private ownership, it remains an important part of the artistic archive. As an early piece, it clearly shows the signature style from which the later series unfolded – full of experimentation, yet already with the clear language of Atelier Hellbusch.
