“Claim 32” – Color dust in suspension (2019)

“Claim 32” unfolds on 70 × 80 cm an astonishingly complex world of color that nevertheless never feels heavy. Rather, the work seems to float – like a dusting of light and memory. The colors dance across the canvas: pink, light blue, red, white and delicate shades of green condense into an atmospheric carpet of color that recalls floral fields or faded dreams.
The finely crafted texture, the interplay of punctuated density and airy dispersion, lends the work its poetic depth. “Claim 32” almost feels like a moment of pause, frozen in color.
A collector’s piece with quiet strength
This work was created in 2019 and now belongs to a private collection. In its compactness, it impressively shows how powerful quiet compositions can be – a central motif within the overall series.

About the artist Mark Hellbusch
I have been a freelance painter since 1997 and have worked with a wide variety of themes in painting.
