An intense work full of energy and density
Claim 56, created in 2021, is an abstract painting measuring 60 × 70 cm and is now part of a private collection. The dense composition of pulsating yellow, orange, and breaking blue accents creates a visual flow – almost like a collective pulse in the space. The surface appears lively, textured, and intensely rhythmic.
Color as a language for collective emotion
In this work, I condense thousands of individual shapes into an energy-charged overall structure. Each trace represents a gesture – together they tell of movement, presence, and cohesion. Claim 56 reflects my artistic exploration of mass, energy, and the moment. The reduced size compared to large-format works makes the intensity of expression all the more concentrated.

About the artist Mark Hellbusch
I have been a freelance painter since 1997 and have worked with a wide variety of themes in painting. While until 2007 I was occupied almost exclusively with expressive painting, today my focus lies more on experimental art.
