Splash 1 – Color explosion on a round canvas
Experimental painting full of energy and lightness
“Splash 1” (2017) is a modern experimental painting created using the technique of a rotating canvas. With strong yellow, red, black, and violet tones, a dynamic color explosion unfolds, gracefully carried outward by the circular motion of the canvas.
The composition appears spontaneous and at the same time harmonious. Each layer of colour follows the movement of the circle, making rhythm, tempo and energy immediately visible. “Splash 1” recalls the joy of childhood play and transforms this memory into contemporary art.
Sold – and now in private ownership
Today the work is part of a private collection. With its positive aura and distinctive round shape, “Splash 1” shows how Atelier Hellbusch combines experiment and artistic expressiveness.
