The seemingly chaotic application of paint creates an "organic" field that is "staked out" by the size of the painting. Thus, the title "Claim 102" is to be understood in relation to the surface of the painting (100 x 150 cm).
Experimental painting leads to a large, abstract landscape.
Painted with a mixed technique consisting of acrylic paint, water-mixable oil paint, and lacquer. However, the term "painted" does not quite apply to this technique. The colors were rather thrown and splashed onto the large landscape, so this is experimental painting, which through the painting process leads to a large abstract landscape.
The color gradient in colorful colors for a modern interior.
To control the spatial effect, the throwing of paint and thus the color gradient is repeatedly interrupted for drying phases. The experimental application of paint is repeated with colorful colors until a natural variety in color and structure emerges. Especially the colors yellow and orange, but also red, blue, and white, mix here in a complex way and create a perceptible spatiality through their differently long gradients (dot-like and small at the top of the painting, line-like and large at the bottom). The eye repeatedly lingers on the pattern-free structures, stimulating the viewer in an unusual way. Thus, a modern artwork in atmospheric colorful colors is created for an inspiring home interior.
Interesting facts about the painting "Claim 102".
Despite the many colors, "Claim 102" is rather subtle in its effect and can be enjoyed both from a distance (perception of spatiality) and up close (variety of structure and color).
The mixed technique creates interesting color gradients.
"Claim 102" is signed, and the edges are painted white. The artwork can therefore be immediately displayed - with two nails in the wall. The painting does not need a frame or varnish - but of course, it can be. I would apply a varnish for you before shipping. You can choose from matte, satin matte, or glossy. However, this is not a recommendation. The mixed media (without varnish) creates varying degrees of light reflection in the color gradients, which I personally find very stimulating. This effect is lost with a varnish. Additionally, the paints sold today are almost non-yellowing. For a frame, I recommend visiting a specialty store near you.
The presentation of the paintings is authentic but not perfect.
The photos you see above were taken by me - as best as I can. Since I am not a professional photographer, the colors you see may slightly differ from the original. There is certainly room for improvement in lighting or resolution here and there. I strive to provide an authentic image of the paintings. Feel free to visit me at the studio or ARTLET if you want to take a look at the original.
Free shipping.
Delivery (Wiesbaden and surrounding areas) or shipping of the artwork usually takes place on Tuesdays and is free of charge. If needed, a different date can be arranged. During (Hessian) school holidays, there may be delays due to vacations. Delivery pauses are communicated in the header of the homepage. Shipping is generally free of charge.
